Colin is a Chartered Surveyor with extensive programme management and commercial experience at director level, primarily in the transport and infrastructure sector. He has worked at all stages of project delivery with a particular focus on the development and negotiation of bespoke contracts and third-party agreements.

As Lead Interface Manager for HS2 he has led negotiations to reach agreements with key stakeholders as part of the Hybrid Bill process. His experience has also included a focus on risk management, not only to ensure cost and quality control but also to promote consideration of health and safety and compliance with environmental requirements. He became Managing Director of CJ Associates in 2011 having previously held senior management positions within a major UK contracting company and several project companies/joint ventures.
