Amanda is town planning professional with 15 years experience in development management, planning policy, consents management and associated stakeholder engagement, community liaison and communications, both in the UK and in New Zealand.

Her experience has been predominantly in the planning and authorisation of new major infrastructure projects (both pre-authorisation and during construction), including the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, the redevelopment of King’s Cross Underground Station and the East London Line Extension.

Amanda has also advised on option selection for new development, managed environmental impacts assessments, obtained planning permission (both preparation for developers and processing for local authorities), and presented evidence at hearing.  She has led community liaison and managed public consultation associated with the planning process, undertaken demographic analyses to establish need and location for development, and has prepared development plans for local authorities.

Amanda has experience of managing multidisciplinary sub-consultants and has significant experience in a contractor role in the delivery of major projects.
